Rankings covered

Drivers' Championship

Every driver on the grid this season, with their team and points total. The round number appears next to the date, for example "R16".

Constructors' Championship

The teams' standings, combining the points of both cars.

how they work

How the rankings are calculated

Points go to the top 10 finishers in each Grand Prix, from 25 for a win down to 1 for tenth, and to the top eight in Sprint races. A driver's total is everything they have scored this season.

The Constructors' Championship adds up the points scored by both of a team's drivers. Both tables reset at the start of each season.

schedule

When they're published

The standings change after every Grand Prix and Sprint, which means most weekends from March to December.

In the app: a few hours after each race ends, the app checks for the updated standings, with a follow-up check on Monday. The data comes from Jolpica-F1, a public API that republishes official results.

questions

Frequently asked questions

Do the standings show movement?

Yes. Arrows show how many places each driver or constructor moved since the previous round.

When do the standings update after a race?

Usually within a few hours of the chequered flag. If a result changes later, for example after a penalty, the app picks it up on its next check.

Can I star a driver?

Yes. Tap the star next to a driver to add them to Favorites. Teams in the Constructors' standings can't be starred.

Is there a separate men's and women's list?

No. Formula 1 has one championship, so there is no Men/Women switch.
