how they work

How the rankings are calculated

The top 15 finishers in each Grand Prix score points, from 25 for a win to 1 for fifteenth. Saturday's Sprint race pays half points to the top nine, from 12 down to 1.

The Teams' Championship adds up both of a team's riders. In the Constructors' Championship, only each manufacturer's best-placed rider in each race scores.
