how they work
How the rankings are calculated
Climbers earn points from World Climbing events in the last 12 months, all weighted equally. Points depend on the event's level and the climber's final place, and only a climber's six best results count.
Boulder, lead and speed each have their own ranking. Climbers on equal points share a rank.
schedule
When they're published
The rankings change as event results come in, mostly after weekend events.
In the app: all six lists are checked on Monday and again on Tuesday morning, straight from World Climbing's results service. Each list shows the end date of the latest event it includes.
