Rankings covered

Riders (men's, women's)

The UCI World Ranking for individual riders, top 150 men and women, with points and movement.

Nations (men's, women's)

Countries ranked by their best riders' points, with the same Men/Women switch.

how they work

How the rankings are calculated

Riders earn points from every race on the UCI road calendar, from the Tour de France and the World Championships to national championships. The bigger the race, the more points.

Results count for 52 weeks: when a race is held again, last year's points from it are replaced. A nation's score adds up its best-ranked riders' points, whatever their pro team: the top eight in the men's ranking and the top five in the women's.
